Sled Rider, 14, Airlifted In Jersey Shore Crash Involving ATV, Tree: Police A 14-year-old child riding a sled was airlifted with serious injuries in a crash involving an ATV and a tree in Ocean County, officials said. The sled being pulled by the ATV, operated by a 15-year-old child, struck a tree around 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 in a wooded area near  on Stump Tavern Road, Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz said. Kunz said only that the person on the sled was seriously injured. No further details were immediately available.
