Jersey Shore Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty In Cocaine, LSD, Pot Bust: Prosecutor
A Lacey Township man on Friday, Feb. 11 pleaded guilty to his role in a Jersey Shore drug bust, authorities said. Detectives discovered several ounces of cocaine, LSD, marijuana, and more during a warranted search of the car and home of Andrew Bradley, 22, in October 2021, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Bradley was storing and selling cocaine and marijuana out of a home in the Forked River section of the township between 2017 and 2020, the prosecutor said. Four New Jersey residents were arrested for distributing heroin, fentanyl and cocaine following an investigation involving nearly a dozen law enforcement agencies, authorities said Thursday. Kevin Collins, 37, and Daysha Kelly, 35, operated out of a Pine Beach home, while Elex Hyman, 49, and Jamie Steen, 38, used a Lakewood home, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. A construction accident at a defunct nuclear plant in Ocean County knocked out electricity in several towns, authorities said. A machine reportedly took down a utility pole and some power lines at Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant on Monday afternoon. The accident triggered a power outage throughout Berkeley Township, Lacey Township, Barnegat Township and Waretown, initial reports said. A 54-year-old man was being held in the Ocean County Jail in connection with Wednesday night's fatal assault at a popular Jersey Shore diner that left another dead. Robert Clarke, 78, of Manchester was airlifted to an area hospital after the 7:30 p.m. incident at the Lakeside Diner in Lacey Township, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Man Found Hanging From Tree In Jersey Shore Town
DEVELOPING: A man was found hanging from a tree in Lacey Township on Wednesday afternoon, reports say. The man's body was spotted by a passerby on Caruso Lane in the Bamber Lake section of the township around 2:30 p.m., initial reports say. The man was purple in the face when the passerby cut him down from the tree, according to Exit 74 scanner news on Facebook. It wasn't clear where exactly the man's body was found, or how long it had been there. His condition was unclear. South Toms River medics were responding, the scanner page said. Raimondo Schiano, 55, admitted diverting unreported income from Biagio’s Trattoria in Lacey Township to his personal account for four straight years, beginning in 2014, during a video conference with a federal judge in Trenton on Wednesday, Special IRS Agent Robert Glantz said.
