Hackensack police chased down and seized three juveniles – ages 12, 15 and 17 – who they said smashed their way into a mini market and stole money and cigars. A wild chase along Clifton rooftops ended when a 17-year-old repeat offender who crashed a stolen Jeep was nabbed by Passaic County sheriff’s officers. A 16-year-old boy remained in custody along with two Garfield 18-year-olds who were charged in the shooting death of a 27-year-old Wallington pizza delivery man in his car during a robbery last month, authorities said. Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Mark P. Centurione didn't disclose who they believe pulled the trigger, killing 27-year-old Dervy Almonte-Moore of Elmwood Park. One Caught, More Sought In Englewood Street Robberies
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. – Englewood detectives filed a delinquency complaint against a 17-year-old city boy who they said snatched a chain from another teen in one of at least two connected street robberies, authorities said. They're now tirelessly looking for others. It began after two victims reported being beaten and the third having the chain snatched the same night. Haworth Police Sergeant Chases, Catches 16-Year-Old Car Thief In Dumont
HAWORTH, N.J. -- A Haworth police sergeant chased and caught a 16-year-old car thief who authorities said broke into several vehicles in Closter and Harrington Park, taking debit cards and a couple hundred dollars in cash.
