Nearly 30 percent of US pharmacies closed between 2010 and 2021, according to a new study in the health-policy publication Health Affairs. The research, led by University of California Berkeley assistant professor Jenny S. State officials are working to mitigate COVID-19's disproportionate impact in New Jersey's black communities. There were more than 4,000 coronavirus-related fatalities in New Jersey as of Friday evening, 22 percent of which were African Americans, NJ Health Commissioner Judy Persichilli said. Gov.
