Civilians teamed up with police to rescue a teenage girl who was struck and pinned beneath a vehicle Tuesday in North Bergen's Racetrack neighborhood, witnesses said. The victim, believed to be 15, was struck near a bus stop at the corner of Palisade Plaza and Woodcliff Avenue outside James J. Braddock Park shortly before 4:30 p.m. May 14, they said.
