Amazon Announces 5 New NJ Delivery Sites
More amazing news on the Amazon jobs front. The giant internet retail outlet announced five new future delivery sites as it opened its Linden delivery station in Union County. Two new delivery sites will be in Middlesex County, two are targeted for Burlington County and one is planned in Mercer County, Amazon said in a press statement. Amazon's newest delivery locations, all set to open in 2021, are at: 2473 Old York Road - Building 1 in Bordentown; 343 Half Acre Road in Cranbury; 400 Delran Parkway in Delran; 1115 King Georges Post Road in Edison; and 10 Princess Road …

Market Taverne in Morristown has closed. The Mt. Kemble Avenue restaurant served its last meal Sunday, and blamed Gov. Phil Murphy. : New Paramus Chipotle Designed With Social Distancing In Mind
Chipotle Mexican Grill has opened a new Paramus location -- and it was designed with social-distancing in mind. The new Route 17 store opened Tuesday, features a "Chipotlane" -- a drive-thru pickup lane where customers can retrieve their digital orders without leaving their cars. For now, the fast casual chain is open for takeout, mobile pickup and delivery only. This is Chipotle's third Paramus location. Sears Closing Morris County Location
The Sears at Rockaway Town Square Mall is just one of many that will soon close permanently in yet another Coronavirus-related blow to the brick-and-mortar retail landscape. The Sears in Hackensack will also shutter, according to closing jobs listed June 30. The retail chain had added four closing jobs at the Rockaway store to its online database as of June 29. The American Dream Mall isn’t looking so dreamy after approximately 100 employees were laid off due to financial issues from the COVID-19 pandemic, reports say. More than 2,700 employees were laid off from Tropicana Atlantic City with state-ordered casino closures extended another month, according to a WARN notice filed with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Last Saturday, Eldorado Resorts -- which owns Tropicana -- moved to the minimum workforce necessary to maintain basic operations, according to an April 8 report to shareholders.
