: NJ Elementary School Teacher Arrested, Prosecutor Says
A New Jersey elementary school teacher has been charged with distributing and possessing child sexual abuse materials, authorities said. Kenneth Vaughn, 35, of Peapack, was found with files showing the sexual abuse and exploitation of a minor on a social media and messaging platform, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said. Detectives confirmed Vaughn is currently employed as an elementary school teacher in Branchburg, McDonald said. The investigation remains ongoing. A 53-year-old Jersey Shore teacher accused earlier this month of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old student is facing accusations from more elementary school students, authorities said.
