SWAT Team Storms Mahwah Condo, Seizes Barricaded Fair Lawn Man Who Threatened To Shoot Them
UPDATE: A SWAT team stormed a Mahwah condo and seized a suicidal man following an hours-long Easter Sunday standoff. Mahwah officers sent to Juniper Way in the Society Hill condominium complex on a welfare check of a suicidal 64-year-old Fair Lawn man Sunday morning found his car parked nearby. They’d requested a Bergen County Sheriff’s K-9 unit and were standing near the vehicle when the man emerged on a nearby balcony around 10:30 a.m., witnesses told Daily Voice. “He began yelling at the officers and threatened to shoot them several times,” one said. 'Back By Easter': Assistant DA Turned NJ Comedian Goes Viral For Trump Impersonation
A North Jersey comedian who left his job as an assistant district attorney had racked in more than 3 million views as of Thursday on a video of him impersonating President Trump's response to "bringing the economy back" by Easter. J-L Cauvin of Bloomfield (Essex County) hilariously nailed the impression on Tuesday moments after hearing about the president's plan. “I have decided, I’m announcing today, we are going to bring back the economy on Easter Sunday," the comedian said as Trump. "Because God who, to be honest is, you know, he’s a good God, he’s done some strong things, some -- …

: Clifton Dentist's Sexy Summer Display Brings The Heat
Clifton dentist Wayne Gangi's Playboy bunny-themed Easter display certainly rubbed some people the wrong way. But that isn't stopping him from bringing the dolls back for summer fun. Gangi's Grove Street lawn is sporting a colorful spread of 13 dolls donning sunglasses, floaties, bikinis and more. Ask the dentist what he's after and he'll tell you: "Giving people a good laugh." "My intention was never to desecrate Easter," he said Sunday evening while fine-tuning the colorful Christmas lights. "The intent is to drive by, have a good laugh and go throughout your day. "There's so muc…

Clifton Dentist Promises Resurrection Of Easter Bunnies 'Napping In Rehab'
Clifton dentist Wayne Gangi is bringing back his girls -- and some new friends. The scantily-clad Easter bunnies were trashed from the dentist's Grove Street lawn Tuesday by neighbor Desiree Shepstone, who was charged with criminal mischief Wednesday. Gangi promised the bunnies will be back -- and they're bringing "new friends to the party," he said on Facebook. "The bunnies are beginning to wake from a rehab nap and will be coming back out of the nest in the near future," Gangi joked. Although many people at first were angered by Gangi's display, his post announcing the new decor garner…

: Clifton Woman Who Destroyed Sexy Easter Display Just Wanted Attention
A Clifton woman who trashed a local dentist's sexy Easter display was only after some attention, according to a recent report. She got it, too -- from police (see below). Tom Mozek, who answered the door at Desire Shepstone's house Tuesday, said he urged her not to take down dentist Wayne Gangi's Playboy display -- right as Pix11 was filming, NorthJersey.com reports. The five scantily-clad mannequins on his lawn served as a tribute to the late Hugh Hefner, who would have turned 93 on Tuesday, the dentist said. Gangi says he plans on filing a restraining order against Shepstone for tearin…

'Ashes To Go': Bergen Churches Take Ash Wednesday To The Streets
DUMONT, N.J. -- Area clergy and lay church members will be out distributing ashes among the public this Ash Wednesday in Dumont, Demarest, Bergenfield and elsewhere as part of a growing nationwide movement. “Ashes to Go” is about bringing “beliefs and symbols of our faith out into the places where people who may treasure them no longer prioritize them as part of their everyday lives,” said the Rev. Susan Kerr of Old Reformed Church in Dumont, which will participate for the first time on Feb. 14. It will also be offered at local bus stops by Calvary United Methodist Church in Dumont, the Uni…
