Hackensack is mourning the loss of a longtime resident and popular bartender Robert Santaella, who died on Monday, July 22. A cause of death for Santaella, 44, was not made public. A GoFundMe campaign launched for Santaella's loved ones, including his daughter, Adrianna, had raised more than $3,200 as of press time. "Everyone that knew Rob loved him for his kind soul and larger than life personality," reads the campaign, launched by Rosie Vega. Erica Voloshin was born to love. The 37-year-old Nutley woman, who was killed over the weekend in a Belleville home, is being mourned by those who love her for her innate kindness. "She was so capable of loving anybody," said Voloshin's boyfriend, Aviv Roziner, of Huntingdon Valley, PA. "She was so kind... she was the most understanding person one could ever imagine." Matthew John Nuncio Augustine died in his family's loving embrace at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on Friday, July 7 after battling a long illness. He was 15. Just one week after the shooting death of a 30-year-old Sayreville councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, another elected official died the same way. Russell Heller, 51, a Republican councilman in Milford, was gunned down at work — a PSE&G parking lot — in Somerset on Wednesday, Feb. 8, authorities in Somerset County said. UPDATE: The accused getaway driver in the cold-blooded shooting death this summer of a 16-year-old Trenton boy and wounding of another has been indicted by a local grand jury. Keith N. Jordan, 30, is charged with first-degree counts of murder and attempted murders, as well as aggravated assault and weapons offenses, among other charges, for his role in the killing.
