Overnight Fire Doused At Industrial Supply Company In Garfield Firefighters doused a pre-dawn blaze at an industrial supply company in Garfield. The fire ignited shortly after 3:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at the Metro Industrial Supply Company on the corner of Morell Place and Charles Street, responders said. Firefighters cut through a garage door to access the bulk of the blaze, which was declared under control about an hour after it began. No injuries were reported. Charlie Bloods remains dark this week as loved ones, friends and countless customers mourn the passing of the popular restaurant's owner, "Coach" Sal Benanti. “My heart hurts,” wrote Jennifer Armstrong Alfonso in an online tribute. “He was an amazing man who was willing to help anyone.
