Watch Vintage Baseball Game In River Edge

RIVER EDGE, N.J. -- Love baseball? Love vintage baseball? The Bergen County Historical Society blends the two in an old-time game Saturday, July 9 at Historic New Bridge Landing in River Edge.

The Flemington Neshanock will play the Brooklyn Eckfords. 

These re-enactor teams will play with 19th century rules, equipment and uniforms in an open field.

Spectators are reminded to bring a hat, blanket or chair, and sunscreen. 

Admission is $10 adults, $5 students, free BCHS members.

The game is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Historic New Bridge Landing, 1201 Main Street, River Edge. 

Enter at the corner of Hackensack Avenue and Main Street. There will be free parking. 

An ice cream truck and hot dog vendor will be in front of the Campbell-Christie House. 

The gift shop with new items will be open. 

Walking tours will be available.

Trains (Pascack Valley line) will run north and south to and from New Bridge Landing station.
