Will Paramus Catholic Lawsuit Proceed? Superior Court Judge Rules Next Week

PARAMUS, N.J. — If Paramus Catholic officials have their way, a Superior Court Judge early next week will dismiss the discrimination lawsuit filed against the high school by one of its former deans.

Kate Drumgoole, 33 of Bogota, filed a lawsuit against the high school for being fired in January because she is in a same-sex marriage.

Students wrote a letter to school administrators expressing devastation and disappointment over Drumgoole's termination.
