Paramus Students Visit Buehler Challenger Center

PARAMUS, N.J. — Fourth grade students at Parkway Elementary School in Paramus visited the Buehler Challenger Center at Bergen Community College on Friday as part of the school's B.L.A.S.T. (Building and Learning Around Science and Technology) program.

Students worked in teams of four using a hands-on, inquiry approach to build structures, test them, and record the data. Some of the activities the students explored dealt with speed and motion, electricity and circuitry and robotics.

Students were also instructed on how astronauts live and work in space.
