The club is receiving assistance from Frisch parent Steven Paley, an inventor, entrepreneur and teacher with over 25 years of experience in business and technology.
Over the next few months, students will learn the fundamentals of robotics, microcontrollers, programming, sensors and actuators.
The group’s projects will include building robots with sensor attachments and writing computer programs to implement problem-solving algorithms.
The course will conclude in a sumobot event – a sumo wrestling robot competition.
