Paramus Bahama Breeze Honors Hackensack Scholarship Recipient

PARAMUS, N.J. – Visit Bahama Breeze in Paramus from 6-9 p.m. Thursday to honor the first Comet Friendship Scholarship Recipient and Hackensack High School 2016 graduate Nada El Gazzar.

Thursday’s celebration also will help the nonprofit organization begin its fundraising for a young woman from the class of 2017. Bahama Breeze will donate 25 percent of the proceeds to Comet Friendship Scholarship.

Comet Friendship Scholarship began when a group of high school friends from Hackensack High School Class of 1979 started a scholarship for a graduating female from the school based on friendship.
