"This decision is based on the school's need for classroom space and a dwindling enrollment in the program over the past few years," Superintendent Paul Saxton said in a letter to parents and community members.
Parents will need to make different plans for their "rising three- and four-year-old students." Current students in the Pre-K 4 program can of course still register for kindergarten for the upcoming year.
