Borough firefighters knocked down the fast-moving Alden Road ranch-home blaze within 20 minutes (CLICK on the video above).

The homeowner "was taken to Valley Hospital and treated for some minor injuries," said Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg, who is also a deputy fire chief.

Although the cause of the fire officially remained under investigation, Ehrenberg told Daily Voice that it appeared accidental.
