Update: Driver Extricated, Pedestrian Injured In Paramus Crash

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Three people, including a pedestrian and a driver who had to be extricated, were injured Wednesday in a crash near Bergen Community College in Paramus.

"It looks like everybody is alert and conscious," a responder told Daily Voice after the noontime Paramus Road crash, which took down a light pole and narrowly missed a bus shelter.

Northbound traffic was being diverted through the campus, police said.

Both the SUV and sedan involved in the collision had to be towed from the scene.
