Unemployed man touched 3 kids where he shouldn’t have, prosecutors say

Bergen prosecutors say an Englewood man inappropriately touched three children the same day — a 3-year-old and 7-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy — putting him in the county jail on $350,000 bail.

Jahbriel El, 23, of 228 Liberty Road, faces aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment charges in connection with the Nov. 13 incidents, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

El, who is single and unemployed, was arrested after being questioned at the prosecutor’s Paramus office on Sunday, but Molinelli didn‘t release the information until late Tuesday afternoon.

El is scheduled for arraignment in Englewood Municipal Court 10 a.m. Dec. 8.
