Two Hospitalized After Rear-End Route 4 Paramus Rollover

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Two occupants extricated from an SUV that rolled over after it was rear-ended at an eastbound Route 4 car dealership were taken to the hospital, authorities said.

Both occupants were OK, responders said.

The driver of the Subaru Outback was turning the vehicle in to the dealership parking lot between Spring Valley Road and Forest Avenue when a Honda Civic hit it from behind, Deputy Police Chief Robert Guidetti told Daily Voice.

The Civic driver, a 21-year-old man, wasn't injured, he said.

The Subaru driver had a cut on his left arm, and the passenger didn't have any immediate injuries, the deputy chief said.

Police, firefighters and EMS units responded to the crash.
