SUV Sends Pickup Into Route 17 Store Window In Paramus

PARAMUS, N.J. -- An SUV car careened into the Route 17 parking lot, hitting a pickup truck and pushing into the front window of a Paramus rug store.

The SUV driver appeared shaken up after the crash on the northbound highway between Midland and Ridgewood avenues, said Keith Smollin, who said he took the photo above.

The driver "swerved across two lanes, hitting the pickup and sending that truck into the store, Smollin said. "[A] man narrowly missed being hit...he was shaken up."
