School evacuated after science lab accident

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: The Pitkin Building at Bergen Community College has been completely ventilated, and people are back in the building following a chemical spill in a science lab. One person overcome by fumes was treated at the scene and not taken to a hospital, as originally reported.


Paramus police and fire and the Bergen County Hazmat team have left the scene after checking the science lab for the chemical, which accidentally spilled down the lab drain.
