Prosecutor: Heroin Dealer Resists Arrest In Paramus Undercover Sting

PARAMUS, N.J. – A Passaic County man caught selling heroin to an undercover Bergen County prosecutor’s detective fought with his captors and tried to run but was taken into custody, authorities said Thursday.

Shortly after Jamil Robinson, 23, of Haledon met with the detective in Paramus on Tuesday, backups moved in, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

Robinson ended up charged with resisting arrest, obstruction, creating a substantial risk of injury to police, conspiracy and possessing and distributing drugs, the prosecutor said.

Robinson remained held in the Bergen County Jail.
