The Bergen County Sheriff's Bomb Squad found nothing suspicious after the call was received at the borough Board of Education office and police were notified at 11:15 a.m.

"The superintendent has exercised extreme caution and evacuated all the schools while our police investigate," Mayor Rich LaBarbiera wrote in a message to parents. "All [schools] have been evacuated, are safe and [are] under the care of teachers and police."
