Paramus restaurant worker from Lodi charged with molesting woman, 19

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Lodi man is charged with molesting a 19-year-old woman in her car in a lot near the Paramus restaurant where he works.

Akram G. Tadros, 39, was arrested yesterday by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and Paramus police after the woman told police that he “forcibly engaged her in sexual activity in [her] vehicle” on Jan. 2, county Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.

The car was parked behind a Route 17 business, he said.

Tadros, who is  married, is charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact and criminal restraint.

He was being held on $200,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail and is due for a first court appearance next Wednesday.
