While at Retro Fitness on Park Place last night, Detectives Glen Pagano and Tom Schroeder, along with Officers Matt Parrello and Steve Nepola, approached two men loitering in the parking lot, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said this afternoon.

One of them, identified as Jabril Cokley of Elizabeth, was carrying 150 decks of heroin worth $1,500 on the street, the chief said.

Cokley, 35, was being held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with heroin possession with the intent to distribute.

The other man was released without charges.
