Miguel Hernandez of New Rochelle was arrested after the girl admitted “engaging in sexual activity in exchange for money with other men” and at first identified Hernandez as her driver, Molinelli said.
An investigation determined that Hernandez “acted as more than her driver,” the prosecutor said. “[H]e facilitated the operation.”
Hernandez took photos of the girl and posted them online in advertisements for escort service, Molinelli said.
He then booked the appointments with johns, drove her to the meets and “directed [her] as to what sexual acts to engage in and how much to charge,” he said.
He then shared some of the proceeds with the girl, Molinelli said.
Hernandez, who was arrested on Feb. 5, was being held on $200,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with human trafficking, promoting prostitution and child endangerment.
