Investigators look at Paramus house fire

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: The Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification was called in today to collect evidence at the scene of a Paramus house fire.

All of the occupants got out safely after the Ferndale Avenue fire broke out just after 11:30 this morning.

First responders saw heavy smoke coming from a second-floor bedroom of the 2 1/2-story wood-frame house, where the fire was contained.

The rest of the house had minor smoke damage, said firefighters, who quickly knocked down the blaze.
