The driver was making a left down one of the parking aisles near Lord & Taylor when her 2011 Suburu Impreza struck Anthony Marchese just after 9 a.m., Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said this afternoon.

Paramus Police Officer Sean Nutland got a car jack from the rear of the Subaru and got the car off Marchese, who was carefully removed by Officer Michael Mordaga, the chief said.

He was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center by Paramus EMS ambulance and HUMC paramedics, Ehrenberg said.

Complaints were pending against the driver, identified as Anna Bello.
