The bus, which had no other occupants, was nearing Paramus Town Square just after 9 a.m. when the car part apparently was kicked up on the other side of the highway and sent flying at the bus, Paramus Police Lt. John Scully told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
The 50-year-old driver, a Kingston, N.Y., resident was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with injuries to his eyes from the shattered glass.
The bus, operated by Passenger Bus Corp. of Hurley, N.Y., was towed from the scene, Scully said.
