Bronx Man Brought Heroin For Sale To Paramus, Bergen Detectives Charge

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Detectives said they grabbed a 28-year-old Bronx man as he headed to an undercover sale in Paramus carrying nearly six ounces of heroin.

Jonathan Cordero-Cano was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail pending a July 6 arraignment on drug possession charges in Central Municipal Court in Hackensack.

An undercover detective with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Narcotic Task Force arranged the sale that led to Wednesday's arrest, Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
