Bergen Community College Safety Officer Charged With Computer Theft

PARAMUS, N.J. -- A Bergen County Community College public safety officer was charged with stealing a $1,900 computer from the Paramus campus, Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino said Friday morning.

Joquann M. Montgomery, 30, of Paterson, was released without bail pending a court hearing after being arrested by Detective Brian Brian Rock of the sheriff's Bureau of Police Services on Thursday.

Montgomery, who worked at the college for three years, was charged with burglary and theft, Saudino said.
