PARAMUS, N.J. -- Sadie May Duke, of Paramus, died on Thursday, Jan. 5. She was 86.
She was born in Englewood and was the daughter of Patrick Kearney of Co Tipperary, Ireland and Sadie Margaret Kearney of Co Armagh, Ireland. She graduated from Saint Cecelia’s High School and Berkeley Secretarial School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening, crafting and visiting the shore. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church Paramus.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen, Gilbert F and his wife Pam, Michael and his wife Vickie, Christopher and his wife Lucy, and James; grandchildren, Melissa, Angela, Jessica, Christina, Amanda, Storm, Christopher, Jillian, Olivia, Thomas, Samantha, and Nicholas; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Eileen Kearney.
She is predeceased by her husband, Gilbert R. Duke.
