Mary (Hannis) Sinclair, 87, Paramus Resident

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Mary (Hannis) Sinclair, of Paramus, died on Sunday, June 12. She was 87.

Before retiring, Sinclair worked as a clerk for New Jersey Bell. She was an avid member of the Annunciation Senior Guild and a parishioner of the Church of the Annunciation.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Sinclair and his wife Jeannie, and Ronald Sinclair and his wife Doreen; grandchildren Alison and Patrick Sinclair, Tracey Zachar, and Jennifer Zachar-DiCriscio; great-granddaughter Kaitlyn Zachar-DiCriscio; sisters Ann Villa and Helen Korch; many loving nieces and nephews; and her grand-dog Pattie Doberman.

Sinclair was predeceased by her husband, Edward Sinclair, and her sister, Dorothy.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., in Paramus. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral mass at the Church of the Annunciation, 50 West Midland Ave., in Paramus. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, in North Arlington.
