PARAMUS, N.J. -- Joseph M. Mulligan, 73, of Paramus and formerly of New Milford and Dumont, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016.
Before retiring, he was a member of NJ Carpenter's Local 253 of Hackensack, formerly Local 15. He also was a member of the Paramus Golf Club.
Mulligan was a U.S. Army veteran who served our country proudly during the Vietnam War as an MP.
He was the husband of Helen (nee Hardy); father of Donna Tecchio and her husband John, Michael Mulligan and his wife Jennifer, Ed Jost and his wife Tricia and Tracy Sancilio and her husband Frank; grandfather of Christian and Ava Tecchio, Alexandria Mulligan, Paul and William Jost, Michael, Luca and Emma Sancilio; brother of John Mulligan and his wife Marty, Mary Ellen Cronin and her husband Bob and Tom Mulligan and his wife Michelle.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. Church services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Savior, 643 Forest Ave., Paramus. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
