PARAMUS, N.J. -- Giuseppe Marchesani -- a Ship Bottom resident, formerly of Union City -- died on Tuesday, May 24. He was 94.
Before retiring, Marchesani worked for Hudson Printing, in Jersey City, as a printer.
He is survived by his husband of 67 years, Anna (Ruzzi) Marchesani; sons Vincent Marchesani of Saddle Brook and Robert Marchesani of Mount Laurel; grandchildren Darren, Daniel, Janelle and Jake Marchesani; and siblings Jean DiClemente, Cesare Marchesani and Felicia Marchesani.
Marchesani was predeceased by his sister, Anna Reale.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., in Paramus. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, in Maywood. Entombment will be at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, in Woodbridge.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Marchesani's memory can be made to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., in Long Beach Township.
