Aniela Litwinowicz, 88, Longtime Paramus Resident

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Aniela Litwinowicz, of Paramus, died on Wednesday, Jan. 4. She was 88.

Born and raised in Poland, Litwinowicz immigrated to the United States in 1968 and has lived in Paramus since.

A faithful parishioner of Church of the Annunciation in Paramus, she served as a cook for the rectory from 1988-1997. She was a member of Chór, a Polish choir group. She also enjoyed gardening.

Litwinowicz is survived by her children, Maria Litwinowicz and her husband Robert McLoughlin, and Diana Litwinowicz and partner Al D'Amato; and her siblings Walter Kobylarz, Sister Pelagia and Maria Skawinski.

She was predeceased by her husband, Konstanty Litwinowicz, and her siblings Tosia Zulkowski, Connie Kobylarz and Jean Sliska.

The funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Rd., in Fair Lawn. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
