Nearly $19,000 has been raised on a GoFundMe for the family of a 62-year-old Fair Lawn woman who died after what loved ones described as a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Galina Margulis passed away at age 62, her husband Roman Margulis announced on Facebook on Monday, Feb. 16.
A GoFundMe created by Svetlana Rozovsky had raised $18,995 as of Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Anthony Kulzy Jr., of Seaside Park, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at his home, according to his obituary on the Ryan Funeral Home website. He was 15 years old.
Born in Pequannock, Anthony was a student athlete at Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township, where he played baseball, basketball, and was on the cross country team, his obituary says.

Support is on the rise for the family of a New Jersey woman who died days after her newborn son, according to a GoFundMe created for the family.
Tiana Vega, whose Facebook page shows she is from Garfield, delivered Baby Asani Xavier on Feb. 2, organizer Danielle Thomas said. Thomas said that Baby Asani “was born sleeping. Following the delivery, Tiana was admitted to the intensive care unit due to sepsis, according to the fundraiser.

Helen N. Sanabria, a Paterson native, died Monday, Jan. 26. She was 30 years old.
In the days following her passing, a GoFundMe was launched by Miguel Sanabria to help the family cover funeral and memorial expenses. More than $16,800 had been raised as of press time.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Helen Sanabria,” the fundraiser states. “Helen was more than a sister, a daughter, and a loved one—she was a light.”

Jeffrey "Jeff" Alexander Roth, of Totowa, died on Monday, Jan. 26, according to his obituary on the Festa Memorial Funeral Home website. He was 31.
