Paramus Police Officer Locates Diamond Ring Left Behind On Route 4

PARAMUS, N.J. — All hope was lost for Kimberly Garcia when she realized she had left her diamond ring behind on Route 4 in Paramus, after changing her car tire on Sunday.

An initial search that day failed to produce anything, police said.

But Officer Jon Henderson, a North Haledon resident, was able to turn things around for Garcia, after spending his free patrol time scouring the area where she had been changing her tire.

The officer located the ring near the roadway, and soon enough, Garcia was shining bright again... just like her diamond.
