Manuela Herrera Jaramillo passed away on March 1, according to her obituary on the Alvarez Funeral Home website.
Born in Colombia, Manuela was the daughter of Alvaro Herrera and Olga Cecilia Jaramillo. She was just weeks away from graduating, with dreams and aspirations ahead of her, loved ones said in a GoFundMe campaign. A cause of death has not been made public.
The GoFundMe, organized by Kianna Hernandez, has been launched to help cover funeral expenses and support her grieving family. The campaign has raised $10,500 as of press time.
“Manuela was a beacon of light in the lives of everyone who knew her, known for her warmth, charisma, and caring nature,” Hernandez wrote. “She had a big heart and always put others before herself.”
Manuela’s family and friends are devastated, and the fundraiser aims to ease the financial burden during this heartbreaking time, Hernandez said.
Donations can be made through the GoFundMe campaign to honor Manuela’s memory and support her loved ones.
