Bergen County Players Present 'Getting Away With Murder'

ORADELL, N.J. — The Bergen County Players presents "Getting Away With Murder,"  a comedy thriller written by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth.

When members of a group therapy circle arrive to find their therapist murdered, they must work through their neuroses and discover the killer before they are bumped off. "Getting Away With Murder" will be performed in the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road from Saturday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Nov. 14. 

The cast includes James Lugo of Congers, N.Y., Mark Bogosian of Tenafly, Rachel Alt of Ridgefield, Earle Ziff of Englewood, Joanne Guarnaccia of Englewood Cliffs, Arno Austin of Bergenfield, Elaine D'Addezio of New Providence, Joseph Sanchez of Paterson, James Lesko of Englewood, Pauline Quinones of Elmsford, NY and Kenneth J. Rivera of Teaneck.

Directed by Ellyn Essig, the production team includes Rhea Smith, Michele Roth, Leslie Cohn, Michael Smith, Gerard Boucier, Tim Larsen, Rick Essig, Kathleen Ruland, Lynne Lupfer, Teri Noel, Matthew Blum, Barbra Murtha, Brandon Essig and David Arts, David Luke and Matt Rofofsky.

Friday and Saturday performances are 8 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $21 for evening performances and $17 for matinees. Advance tickets are available for students at $14. Group sales are available for 20 or more.
