Officers Chris Sanchez, Dillon Sherman and Jake Wanamaker responded to her call and found the dark-colored sedan with Florida plates on Lee Court, just off Wyckoff Avenue, around 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, Lt. Troy E. Seifert said.

They arrested the driver, Juan Soriano, 34, after Detective TJ Palaia discovered that he'd gone there to collect fraudulently ordered packages, the lieutenant said.

Soriano, who lives 25 miles away, actually traveled twice as far -- to Dunellen in Middlesex County and to Greenbrook in Somerset County -- based on stolen packages that Seifert said were found in the vehicle.

Soriano was charged with receiving stolen property and trespassing and released pending charges out of the other jurisdictions.
