Paramus Store Throws Countdown Party For Harry Potter Release

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Paramus' Barnes & Noble is hosting a party on Saturday, July 30, to celebrate the release of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."

The book "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is a special-edition script of the play by the same name, and it'll go on sale at midnight Sunday.

The bookstore is hosting a "Harry Potter Countdown to Midnight Party" on Saturday, beginning at 8 p.m. and leading up to the midnight release of the book, which is a special rehearsal edition script book.

The party will feature a breakfast and a special Muggle Wall, where customers can share their favorite memories of Harry Potter -- as well as giveaways and other activities.

Customers will also be able to enter the Harry Potter Limited Edition Cover Prints Sweepstakes.

The store will not be open on Sunday.
