The Founder of Business Women Networking Involving Charity & Education (BW NICE) is all about establishing networking chapters across New Jersey - and eventually Pennsylvania and New York.

This is not your run-of-the-mill business organization. According to Simovich, there are three key elements to the group: networking, education and charity, the cap of which includes an annual "Red Shoe" event.

In addition to monthly networking meetings, each BW NICE Chapter raises funds and awareness supporting a local organization in the fight against domestic violence.

The first Bergen County meeting will be held Tuesday, April 12 from 9 a.m.to 10:30 a.m. at Raymond's in Ridgewood and Simovich said all women are invited to attend (the cost is $20; annual membership is $150).

The organization was founded by Simovich in April 2009 in Hunterdon County and patterned after a successful program she developed, launched and nurtured in Southern California where she lived for many years. Now a resident of Clinton, she's hoping to take this organization national and has set up a turnkey operation so other women can take over their individual chapters. Hewitt resident Pam Jordan will lead the Bergen County Chapter.

There will be three “Red Shoe” events this year; next year that will get bumped up to four or five as BW NICE continues to grow.
