To benefit the animal refuge, skilled knifesmiths sharpened any knife for a donation of $3 each.

The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge is the leading no-kill animal shelter in Bergen County and depends on donations to care for its animals. It currently offers a free “Pit Stop” pit bull spaying program for the City of Paterson, which has too many of the gregarious pets, to try and reduce the population.

Chef Central hosts charity events twice per year, in the spring and fall, donating to a different local organization for each event.
