The event runs 1-5 p.m. and includes lectures, exhibits, a chance to make tombstone rubbings, go pumpkin picking and more. The first 75 children will receive a free pumpkin.
Refreshments, including cider donuts, will be available for sale.
Historian Kevin Wright will give an illustrated talk at 1:30 p.m. in the Steuben House. Discussed will be the Lutheran Church site at New Bridge and the French Burial Ground in New Milford.
There is a photographic tombstone exhibit that includes Bergen County tombstones and rubbings.
An activity for children includes a brass plate rubbing to take home.

Cost is $10 adults, $7 students. Bergen County Historical Society members free.
Cost to become a BCHS member and support its efforts: $20 individual / $30 household.
All three sandstone houses, including the Steuben House, a state historic site, are connected by an ADA-compliant gravel walking path.
Free parking is available.
