He believes it could revolutionize real-estate marketing.
"Our 3D imaging capabilities have a lot of upside and will grow exponentially," Aghachi told Daily Voice.
"LuxQue plans on being at the forefront of this technology as it grows and evolves."
Aghachi is an Iranian immigrant who settled in Bergen County as a child. He spent years working in high-end luxury real estate — selling properties in Bergen County, the Hamptons, Manhattan, and Nantucket.
Aghachi in 2015 ventured from constructing homes to building them on a virtual platform. This led his investment in a Silicon Valley technology company that offers cutting-edge 3D-imaging capabilities.
He's testing it out on the East Coast.
"This isn’t about a cool factor," Aghachi said. "You want to be able to go inside the house and walk around. This technology truly lets you go inside and get a full perspective of the listing."
He describes it as the marriage of "high fidelity visuals taken from photographed images or digital renders with simple, user-friendly navigation."
Aghachi is also developing "virtual staging," which will allow clients to take a virtual tour of a rendering of their completed home before it is even built.
He also wants to integrate his 3D-capabilities with the Oculus Rift headset, offering clients in other parts of the world the ability to go inside a house and take a tour from the comfort of their own couch via Oculus' virtual reality technology.
People are hesitant to embrace his new technology, but once they use it there has been no turning back, Aghachi said.
"Getting it into people's hands has been difficult," he said. "But one they see it and they use it they love it."
