"Yellow Beast 2" will make its debut in mid-April, bringing Callahan's "So Big, So Good" dogs to South Jersey and other points in the tri-state area, third-generation owner Daniel C. DeMiglio said.
It's dedicated to his father, Ronald DeMiglio, who's fighting cancer.
DeMiglio — whose grandfather, Leonard “Artie” Castranni, founded the onetime landmark establishment on Palisade Avenue in Fort Lee — brought the snappy dogs back two years ago "on wheels."
Later this month, he will celebrate the first anniversary of Callahan's storefront in Norwood.
"I am so blessed and so honored to operate this business each day for my entire family," DeMiglio said. "They all call me almost every day -- including my grandma, who said how proud she was of all I accomplished on Easter Sunday.
"It always means the world to me when she visits and calls me and tells me that Grandpa is smiling down on me."
