The first break closed Route 522 eastbound between Stouts Lane and New Road, according to South Brunswick police. It created a 10-foot-wide sinkhole. The second break closed a shoulder along Route 1 near Dow Jones. Breaking - 2 water main breaks in South Brunswick. # 1 - This one on Rt 522 near Stouts Ln has created a 10 foot sinkhole.
