Dump Truck Plows Into Jersey Shore Home, Downs Power Lines A dump truck toppled a utility pole and smashed into a house in Ocean County, authorities said. A 55-year-old truck driver crashed into the home at the intersection of McLean Avenue and Route 35 North at 3:05 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, Point Pleasant Beach police said.  The operator of the truck, Ronald Bennett, of Point Pleasant, was treated at the scene by the Point Pleasant First Aid & Rescue Squad and taken to the hospital, police said.
